Andy Low’s Railwaymen revolution has taken another major stride forward with the arrival of defender David Wilson from Peterhead. The tall Aberdeen-based player comes to the Loco Works on loan from the Balmoor side, and was formerly at Elgin City.
Tireless Locos gaffer Low said “David is someone I have monitored for the last few years, having previously been at Elgin before moving to Peterhead. Although only 22, he has experienced a lot of senior football for both clubs and I believe he will have a big part to play for the remainder of the season.
I was keen to create competition within the defensive line and David can play in each of those positions along the back four or a back three so he will give us plenty options. I always believe competition brings the best out of you and I am hoping this addition will bring the best out of all the players vying for those positions”.
David goes straight into the Matchday squad to face Lossiemouth this afternoon.
