ROBERT THE RETURNING RAILWAYMAN

Inverurie Loco Works FC can tonight confirm that their former attacker Robert Ward has agreed to return to Harlaw Park upon the expiry of his contract at Peterhead FC. The twenty-three year old previously debuted for the Locos with a brace versus Clachnacuddin in July 2021, and went on to net twenty seven times in seventy nine outings.

Manager Dean Donaldson said “We are excited by capturing the return of Robert, as despite a high performance season from us, our lack of goals was an ongoing concern. Wardy is well known to most of the lads and the supporters of course, and was really keen to return to us”.
