Locos are delighted to confirm the arrival of left back Liam Morrison on a 2 year deal, subject to international clearance. The 24 year old came through the ranks at Harlaw Park, scoring once in 4 appearances in the 2016/17 campaign before heading to the US on a scholarship, and returns to bolster the club’s defensive options.

Manager Andy Low commented “Liam will be a fantastic signing for the club so we are delighted to get him in on a free transfer. It’s a situation I have monitored for the last couple years as I knew how highly thought of he was when he left the club for the US as a youngster.

He returns with plenty of experience and I believe he will offer us a better balance off the left side as he has great attributes for the style of play we are looking to implement. His delivery in possession and from set pieces will be important for us.

As with Dem and Zack, we are having to be patient with our specific transfer targets in a competitive market and Liam was no different having had interest from the HL and Scottish League clubs looking at him. It’s important to take in right type of players that you think will help you improve and we will continue with that approach going forward.”
