JOSH BUCHAN

Tremendous news from Harlaw Park this morning. Josh Buchan has today penned a long term deal to remain a Railwayman.

Manager Andy Low commented: “I’m delighted Josh sees the next chapter in his career at Harlaw Park. When Josh signed initially, it was to give him the opportunity to see the Club and how we work. He has come in and impressed in all aspects of the game, both on and off the pitch, and its exactly the type of recruitment we want to be doing going forward. He is young, hungry, ambitious and has lots more to offer going forward as he settles in further. But importantly, we do feel he can impact things immediately on the pitch and help us progress as a Club. We have shown in the recent past, with Kieran Shanks and Hamish Ritchie, that this is a great platform to come and play football and improve. There are also other similar examples of this in the current squad.

This will be the way we continue to work going forward as we look to make improvements on last season’s league position in what is a very competitive league. I certainly take no comfort in finishing 6th and we have to start demanding more”.
