INTERIM MANAGEMENT

Inverurie Loco Works FC can confirm that current First Team Coach, Jamie Watt will take charge of first team affairs on an interim basis and will be supported in the role by current First Team Goalkeeping Coach John Farquhar and First Team Player Paul Coutts.

We are grateful to Jamie and John for agreeing to step in and look after our first team squad, along with Paul who will also continue as a player within the squad. This will provide the club with immediate continuity and the time to consider all our options, whilst providing these guys with a platform to showcase their own talents. The interim coaching team are aware of our immediate and long term vision and are fully supportive of it.

Our focus going forward is to try and help the coaching staff and players to improve their immediate current position and kick start their season, however our longer term vision and strategy of building a new squad, with youth firmly at the forefront, will not change. We have a fantastic and exciting core of young players at the club, both within the first team squad presently and within our U18 and U21’s youth teams and we firmly believe this is the way forward for Inverurie Locos to not only succeed in the coming seasons, but to be able to sustain success in the future. As a club and as a collective coaching staff, we are investing a lot of time, money and effort into providing a pathway for our young players to progress into the first team. We are prepared to do this now and in the future, as we believe this is the best way ahead for Inverurie Loco Works FC. These youngsters will of course need time to develop and support from all of us and all of our supporters, whilst we also hope to have the right type of experienced player to help guide them along. We look forward to watching them develop in the Red n Black and hope you can all get along to Harlaw Park and beyond to show them your fantastic support.
