INCOMING LOCOS GLOVESMITH

It’s a very warm Inverurie welcome to goalkeeper Zack Ellis, who will officially join the Football Club on June 1st. Commenting on the capture of the East End player, Andy Low said: “When looking to strengthen the goalkeeping department further, Zack was our only target since I returned to the Club, and we are delighted he has agreed to join, having faced a lot of competition to get him. We felt this was an important signing to create more competition in the squad, whilst also allowing our younger goalkeepers time to develop by playing more games. Zack comes in having played plenty football the last couple of years, at a great age (23), with his best years still in front of him and he has many of attributes that we are looking for in a goalkeeper. He will also develop his game further with the training from Jonny and working closely with Andy Reid who remains a top-class goalkeeper as shown in his performances last season. We are happy with how the squad is shaping up so far, but when there are opportunities like this that arise to improve it, we want to keep progressing as a club in every department”.
