The Football Club can confirm that Lloyd Robertson & Jay Halliday have signed contract extensions that will see the talented pair be under contract at Harlaw Park until at least the summer of 2026.
Lloyd Robertson has been immaculate under the stewardship of Dean Donaldson & debuted in July 2021 in a 5-0 win over Clach at home. Lloyd has gone on to play eighty six matches, scoring twelve times. Local lad Jay Halliday has came through the Locos youth system & has really thrived since the arrival of manager Donaldson & his coaching team. Jay debuted under the Harlaw lights in a 2-1 win over Brechin City in October 2021 & has played fifty five matches, netting seven times.
Dean Donaldson commented: “Absolutely delighted with the work Lloyd has put in with us and away from football, to help himself become an important part of our team. This extension shows he is committed to Locos and what we are trying to achieve at Harlaw Park, so it’s really great news. We are all also delighted Jay has committing to at least an additional year. Jay has found himself in a new role, probably one he’s never played before, but for me he can really shine as a player in this position. He will only get better the more he understands it.”
