The preparation for the new season took a step forward tonight with news of a pair of contract extensions at Harlaw Park.
Twenty-one year old forward Ryan Park has signed a contract through to the summer of 2027. Ryan debuted on matchday one of the last campaign & featured twenty one times. Manager Dean Donaldson, “Parky is in the development part of his career and we continue to have high hopes for him. He’s a big honest lad with an excellent work rate and he’ll receive all the support he needs from my coaching team”.
Flying winger Nathan Meres, twenty four, has also extended his Locos stay until at least the summer of 2027, and the return of a fans’ favourite will be really popular. Nathan has played one hundred and seventeen matches for the Railwaymen, debuting in November 2020.
Gaffer Deano added, “Nathan missed a good chunk of last season and having him back in the fold is like a new signing. He’s rapid and unplayable on his day. We all welcome him back”.
